“Ozualdo Candeias’ films create a unique urban universe since his first feature film, A Margem (The Margin), made in 1967. With Zezero (1974), O Candinho (The Little Candide), of 1975, and AOpção ou as rosas da estrada (The Option or The Roses o f the Road), made in 1981, this filmmaker from the state of São Paulo surprised his country showing it, thanks to a new style and point of view, a kind of hidden face.”Downloads
