Abstract

Instruments devised for image recording, such as photographic cameras, are sometimes considered a kind o f extension of the photographer’s eye. As with any kind of tool, the handling of these devices depend on the technical solutions chosen by their developers. This paper tries to establish some relations between these solutions and the process of image production.
