A relação entre a osteoartrite (OA) e as doenças cardiovasculares (DCV) tem sido objeto de crescente interesse científico. Enquanto a OA é tradicionalmente considerada uma condição localizada nas articulações, evidências emergentes sugerem uma conexão entre essa doença crônica e a saúde cardiovascular.
