Abstract

Obturator nerve blockage as an analgesic proposal for hip osteoarthritis – a simplified technique To introduce a new terapeutic approach to pain related to hip osteoarthrites consisting of a simplified technique of obturator nerve blockade. The advantages are: it’s easier faster and with lower rinks than the literature’s techniques. We also emphasize the necessity of a global treatment in cases of chronic pain. So we report the case of the first patient submitted to this procedure showing relevant improvement of pain (using visual scale) and also functional status.
