The hemiplegic patient and the sandplay: a possibility of expression

This study theoretically explored the possibilities of using the Sandplay as a psychotherapeutic process with hemiplegic persons with language disfunctions, in rehabilitation treatment in a hospital. It was also investigated, if this psychotherapy method, which makes use of a non verbal instrument can stimulate the brain plasticity as well as help these patients in their search of a new language which may put them in touch with the world around in an active way.
