Begining from other non-invasive methods, some medical specialists find themselves involved with the question of the diagnostic and the evaluation of the incapacity provoked by WRMD. It is expected that each one may develop the knowledge specific to his specialty, but in dialogue with other areas, owing to the fact that specialists sustaining their profession from exclusively technical knowledge do not always recognize that medicine is a science that was for a long time also an art. On that way attempt to this link may result in a larger interdisciplinary horizon. Connecting Medicine and Art, this text aims to enrich the specialist's understanding through the history of "signs" and "symptoms" that occur in the body. Such knowledges, coming since the Renaissance as through Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Vesálio allow us establish - even though by a seemingly distant and indirect route - with an approach by which we may become more attentive and discerning in the observation of details. From the patient's history to his physical examination until the correct diagnosis, the physician could reduce the indication of complementary exams and the recommendation of invasive methods.
