A Fibrodisplasia Ossificante Progressiva (FOP) acarreta limitação gradual da amplitude de movimento articular pela osteogênese heterotópica progressiva em diversas estruturas do tecido conjuntivo como músculos, fáscias, ligamentos e tendões.
