Lucia is an obscure part in the written material that has come to consolidate the life of James Joyce, not only Joyce, the artist, but also Joyce, the common man. Lucia is an enigma. To speak about her, causes us to rethink some of the fundamental questions of psychoanalysis: affiliation, love and the woman. The Lucia Joyce's biography, by Crrol L. Schloss, the last work of Joyce, Finnegans Wake, and Lucia's poor writings gives some clues to draw up the hypothesis on what it could have been. first, the support provided by the dancer and her father's gaze in the attempt of impossible condanceation; second, the flow of signifiers coming from three sources: the secret language, and the knowledge related to telepathic powers, Joyce's attribution to Lucia and, Finnegans Wake. The path of the signifier dot/dotter/daughter guides the reading and reopens the enigma in another place. The place where Lucia's voice left it's trace: Yes...but, unfortunately. Mememormee.Downloads
