Abstract

This paper is situated on the interface of psychoanalysis and education, based on the internship experience performed in an early childhood education school and using the IRDI methodology, which studies the educator's relationship with the baby, emphasizing the singularization of the bond in the educational act. Considering the possibility of sustaining a "non-complete" knowledge about the other, where indetermination appears, we question what we call "educator-role" and "educator-subject", using situations lived throughout the internship period as a background, and aiming at discussing the education act in the contemporary educational scenario.
