This article explores the process of building an online platform for community participation in the production process of public facilities. The article concludes that the platform is viable, but its implementation requires an integrated action between different actors. Initially, the principles that guide this construction are explored, followed by the discussion of the steps of the process, starting with an analysis of existing solutions, the development of a first prototype followed by a test cycle and, finally, the development of the second platform’s version. Throughout the text considerations about the decisions and actions taken are made in comparison with the principles of the research. Finally, the article ends with preliminary conclusions of the still in progress research and discusses future directions.
