Interprofessional team management throughout the project development process is dynamic and complex, as it depends on the segment being designed and the project context and involves the work of different professionals. One of the difficulties of managers is in measuring the engagement of the professionals involved in a project, having as a reference the actions carried out in each procedure through the relationship of the indicators of influence and participation. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the engagement of an Interprofessional Project Team composed of Design, Engineering, and Health professionals in the development of a medical-hospital product in the context of COVID-19. For this, an applied study was carried out with a descriptive objective with a qualitative approach and technical procedures of action research, in which it was organized and divided into three phases: first involved the project planning, the second, the reporting of the project development, both from the Guia de Orientação para o Desenvolvimento de Projetos (GODP) and the third with the measurement and analysis of the engagement of professionals in the project based on the Generic Model of the Record of Interested Parties. The results indicate that of the 21 procedures used in the project, there was the engagement of all professionals involved in 17 (80.9%), taking as reference the values assigned qualitatively by the design manager. This study presented important issues to be considered when planning and managing a project with an interprofessional team that may be used as references in other projects of similar contexts.
