Abstract

In this article, we propose, 1) to reflect on the challenge of initial and/or continuous training of legal translators, particularly concerning the correct use of terms and terminological collocations, 2) to provide a teaching methodology to be applied in the translation training, based on the principles of the Data-Driven Learning and on our teaching experience at the university where we work and 3) to demonstrate the scientific and pedagogical advantages of Data-Driven Learning in acquiring a strategic competence in translation.
