This is the summary of my work presented at the Congress of Genetic Criticism in La Plata, Argentina, in September 2022, in which I talk about my creation process using engraving, binding and literary production of my authorship. The poem URANO, from my artist book LIVRO DAS ESTRELAS, was translated into Spanish to be presented on the occasion. I speak of my influence and artistic reference of Hercules Segers, Dutchman of the 16th and 17th centuries, one of the first artists to make metal engraving to transport his paintings. He even used the same matrices to compose different paintings characterized by inking. My experience is this, in which I make my engravings, but I don't put them on canvas. Instead, I use the same matrices to make different inkings and print different engravings, composing the illustrations of a book of my authorship, text, images and bindings. My theoretical references are G. Bachelard, G. Deuleuze, A. Warburg and Didi-Huberman, from which I have my creative process.
