Peer Review Process
All papers received undergo a preliminary analysis by the Editorial Committee, to assess the relevance of the submission, as to scope, originality (using anti-plagiarism software) and the standards of the journal. The papers accepted in this first instance are forwarded, in a blinded review system (without reference to authorship), to peer reviewers, members of the Scientific Board or ad hoc reviewers, in the double-blind peer review model. Approval or rejection is obtained by obtaining two opinions with the same recommendation. If the first two opinions diverge in this respect, the journal will obtain a tie-breaking evaluation. Papers may be approved, disapproved, or approved on condition that changes are made. In the latter case, the authors must make the necessary adjustments and return the text to the journal for evaluation of the changes. The final decision on publication is the responsibility of the Editorial Committee.
