The paper describes events that took place in candomblé houses of Salvador, Bahia, in order to reflect on the candomblé’s particular form of posing and solving ethical problems, of forming adepts’ ethical sensibility and offering conditions for its exercise in the everyday life of the religious community. Approaching situations involving the initiation and gradual formation of adepts and their relations with deities, it aims to highlight elements that define ethical practice in the candomblé and the ethical assemblage that sustains such practiceDownloads
