The texts published by anthropologists – books, articles, diaries – and the interpretations about this production created what is called by Annette B. Weiner anthropology’s “sacred places”, like the Trobriand Islands. However, little has been written about how people continue his life in these places after the anthropological fieldwork, nor what people think about the fieldworks that took place there creating the “sacred places”. This article presents some reflections about the relationship between doing anthropology, tourism, and reflexivity ellaborated after a visit to the Trobriand Islands in 2013.Downloads
