Ailton Alves Lacerda Krenak é uma das vozes indígenas brasileiras de maior visibilidade na atualidade. Ativista, jornalista e escritor, ele nasceu em 1953 na Terra Indígena Krenak, na região do Vale do Rio Doce, na região Sudeste do país. Nos últimos anos, sua presença tem sido bastante requisitada no meio acadêmico e nos espaços midiáticos, principalmente quando estão em pauta os direitos dos povos indígenas e os impactos da ação predatória do homem para o futuro do planeta.
