Abstract

Novas relações e parcerias deveriam ser estabelecidas entre ossistemas de conhecimento tradicional e a ciência, baseadas numa filosofiada ciência mais contemporânea. Enquanto a antropologia deve procurarconhecer esses sistemas, a ciência deve praticar um escambo de resultadossem procurar colonizá-los. Analisa-se o exemplo dos processos de conservaçãoda diversidade agrícola on farm no Rio Negro.
