The life history of animals is influenced by environmental variables and the temperature has significant importance in this context. Thus, understanding the magnitude of these influences is essential to studies of population dynamics. Endothermic and ectothermic vertebrates are affected by temperature, and the adaptation to these conditions allows the persistence of populations. In addition to the inherent variations in the environments temperature, now there is the reality of climate change and the global warming as an additional pressure to biological populations throughout the world.Downloads
