Abstract

The pathogenic action of Schistosoma mansoni in experimental infection produced in mice was studied. The number of eggs per gram of feces from the first to the eighth week was calculed. Liver spleen and total body weight of the mice was also determined; and the hepatic, pulmonary, splenic and intestinal granulomata was studied. The presence of pancreatic granulomata was detected.
