This article overlaps the concepts of cinematic excess and attractions as strategies to establish engagements e affections within the pornographic field in order to raise questions on gender politics and traditions. I would argue that certain logic of excessive attractions are inserted within the narrative and establishes an ambivalent play of both use and refusal to use the generic codes of the pornographic domain. In order to address such political and cinematic issues, I will focus my analyses on the Dirty Diaries (2009), an explicit feminist porn project financed by the Swedish Film Institut.Downloads
