Abstract

This article (re)reads Luuanda, by José Luandino Vieira, highlighting some features that make it unique and which are present in all the stories that make up the collection. Some of these characteristics are the narrator’s dialectic and polyphonic diction as well as the narrative construction as an ironic encircling, an arabesque through which in its intertwined lines the narrator subtly invites the reader to perceive the inconsistencies of the angolan reality.
