In the testimony that is transcribed next, the Mozambican writer Suleiman Cassamo speaks about the role of the press in the divulgation of the Mozambican Literature of the 20th century, little active role nowadays. He confides the difficulty of finding his books in Mozambique and comments on the concern with the dissemination of his works, digitally or translated, made in default of the author. He discusses the relations between the universal and the particular in his work, seeking a form of conciliation between the two. He also reflects on his literary influences and reveals his thematic preference related to returning to his origins, as well as reporting on his future perspectives and projects.
