REFLECTIONS ABOUT WRITING AND THE WRITER’S CONDITION IN CRISTOVÃO TEZZA’S CHRONICLES PUBLISHED IN GAZETA DO POVO NEWSPAPER

This study investigates Cristovão Tezza’s chronicles published in Gazeta do Povo newspaper between 2008 and 2014, analyzing themes, content, and relating this texts to the author ficctional and essayistic production. The corpus of this analysis is formed by metaliterary chronicles, in other words, those in which Tezza reflects about literature issues in a direct dialogue with his autobiographical novel O filho eterno (2007), the essayistic book O espírito da prosa – uma autobiografia literária (2012) and the conferences published in the e-book Literatura à Margem (2014).
