The film Nha Fala represents a present and a future of hope for Africa, especially for its female population. Despite their hard work and competence, many women are often overlooked by a markedly patriarchal society. Interpreting Cabral's legacy, this film shows possibilities of struggle within a social system that seems to have lost its revolutionary values, renegotiating, through reasoning, links with a tradition not always allied with progress.
