Fibromialgia: o que é, como diagnosticar e como acompanhar?

O objetivo deste artigo é rever as principais características clínicas, critérios diagnósticos e métodos de acompanhamento clínico da fibromialgia. O autor apresenta ainda um pequeno histórico do conhecimento desta síndrome e comenta a necessidade da divulgação do conhecimento adquirido para a partir de um diagnóstico precoce melhorar a qualidade de vida dos pacientes.
