The article proposes a reflection on technological interactivity in contemporary art. To this end, it discusses the ways of incorporating the viewer, focusing on overcoming the dichotomy between passive observer and active interactor and the tendency to address technological interactivity as a disruptive phenomenon. Finally, based on the work of Mexican artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, the study identifies three models of visual response (output) based on face-to-face human-machine feedback systems.
