The text proposes to retell the author’s experience as Michel de Certeau's student during the 1970's in Paris, touched by the political effervescence of May 1968, and reflects on the professor’s importance - for his theoretical ideas, as well as for his open and unconventional mind - to her intellectual training and to finding her own approach in Anthropology.
