This work is a second part of the article published by Revista do Museu de Arqueologia e Etnologia (Noelli, Viana, Moura 2009), where we presented: 1) the methodology applied in underwater archeology excavation of a shipwreck on the Praia dos Ingleses, Island of Santa Catarina, Brazil; 2) the first results of the data analysis; 3) the historical research on the wreck context and the identification of the vessel. Now we will present the data that support the hypothesis tested in 2009: that the researched boat was the one which the historical sources indicated be sailed by Thomas Frins and seven englishmen accused of piracy in the Viceroyalty of Peru (1687) and Brazil (1688).Downloads
