Resumen

The economy of Ancient Egypt during the New Empire was based on two principles: redistribution and reciprocity. Redistribution was the domain of estatal sphere, what means to say that all resources moved from periphery to centre and were redistributed to everyone according to status. Reciprocity worked out in the domestic sphere, reallocating goods where they were needed as well as it cemented social relationships. This two systems controlled the distribution and exchange of goods in Ancient Egypt.
