Résumé

When raising the fruit harvest scenes in the Athenian black and red figured vases systematically, one notices a direct relation between the practice of this agriculturist activity and the women. One intends with this paper to establish possible explanations of this association, at first not very common for the Athenian culture patterns, from the examination of Athenian vases and the literary tradition.
