The image as motivator for Ecotourism

The objectives of this study are to define how the image is effective in the motivational process to Ecotourism, as compared to textual descriptive report from the same location and to compare and evaluate the different perceptions of individuals and their power to motivate potential ecotourists, as well as quantify the impact of the image and cause the reporting individual, and the influence of one over the other eye to potential ecotourists. Based on the methodologies of the Collective Subject Discourse together with the Scale of Humor Analysis, in order to capture quantitatively perceptions in an evaluation of the discrete nature of the images and reports which the students from the Bachelor of Tourism, from Universidade Federal de São Carlos, located in Sorocaba- São Paulo, Brazil - were exposed. From the results, the hypothesis has been ruled out, contrary to expectations of this work.Downloads
