This article aims to present the approach to the education of the actor's voice and speech from the perspective of the Russian stage speech method [stenítcheskaia riétch]. Such an approach, which is present in stage speech classes, a curricular subject in Russian theater academies, is based on the principles of Konstantin Stanislavski's system and his artistic and pedagogical thinking. To develop this article, motivated by Stanislavski's legacy, the researcher and author draws on practical experience with stage speaking classes taught by Russian pedagogue Elena Konstantinovna Gaissionok.
