Focus and Scope

Organicom – Revista Brasileira de Comunicação Organizacional e Relações Públicas (Brazilian Organizational Communication and Public Relations Magazine) has the objective of being an effective instrument of collaboration, debate and approach between academic studies and practical applications. For this purpose it is aimed at professors, researchers, professionals, graduate and post-graduate students, universities, institutions and other bodies interested in Communication and Public Relations.

Organicom accepts the contribution of authors who propose texts that are pertinent to the objective of the magazine and to its target publics.

Organicom does not charge a fee for submitting manuscripts or materials for publication in the journal.

Peer Review Process

The originals sent for analysis will be submitted to two members of the Editorial Council for issuance of an opinion that assesses the text based on credits of quality, methodology and adequacy to the objectives and standards established in these Rules. Two favorable opinions qualify the text for publication, while two unfavorable ones will invalidate it. One favorable and another unfavorable will lead to a third consultation. The persons responsible for the assessment will be designated according to the line of the research and theme presented by the author. All of the authors will receive detailed information on the process of assessment of their text, which may be accepted, accepted with exceptions (alterations or supplementations) or refused.

 

Open Access Police

This journal offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public provides greater global democratization of knowledge.

Organicom allows the post-print version of articles to be stored in institutional/digital repositories immediately after publication.

Possibility and conditions for the acceptance of articles previously made available on preprint servers

The prior acceptance of the articles has the rules to be unpublished. Articles previously available on preprint servers may be rigorously analyzed by the editorial committee as to the feasibility or otherwise of being published, according to the journal's merit criteria.
